About the Course

Beloved, this is a remembering. Through ritual, sound, imagination, and the elements, you are invited back into relationship with the living earth, and yourself.

This offering is an invitation into a slower, softer rhythm of being, a way of meeting life that honours beauty, and the quiet wisdom of the land. Guided by Charlotte Church across eight unfolding chapters, this cinematic retreat is woven from ritual, imagination, song, and practices rooted in the earth of Mid Wales.

Together, we tend the elements, fire, earth, air, and water, and listen for the little glimmers of soul that moves gently beneath everyday life. You will be shown how to walk with intention, to make with your hands, to sit in stillness, to sing, to listen, and to allow the natural world to mirror something true back to you.

This is not a course of striving or achievement, but of remembering, a return to curiosity, tenderness, and a feeling of belonging inside nature. May it awaken your creativity and courage, soften the boundary between your inner world and the living earth, and remind you, beloved, that you too are part of the dreaming of the earth.

A Look Inside the Course

I: The First Threshold

Build Your Altar

In this opening chapter, you are invited to choose a place and create with intention and meaning, an altar within your home that becomes a living point of return, a special place between you and the unseen.

This chapter invites you to find a place in the land where you can return again and again, allowing familiarity, presence, and belonging to slowly grow.

This is a foundational practice that is deeply important to building a deep relationship with nature and the unseen.

II: The Second Threshold

Sit Spot

III: The Third Threshold

Body as Kin, Body as Earth

In this chapter, you are invited to meet yourself as earth, sensing each part of the body as alive, intelligent, unfathomably complex and as a lifelong friend and ally.

IV: The Fourth Threshold

Story String

Your life holds many threads.

This chapter offers a gentle practice that can be done again and again for meeting the story of your life. This can also be done with children, friends and family.

This chapter invites you into simple acts of crafting, creating offerings with your hands as a way of honouring relationship with land, nature spirits, ancestors, elementals and self.

As the amazing teacher Martin Pretchel would say, “feeding the holy in nature".

V: The Fifth Threshold

Nature Crafting

VI: The Sixth Threshold

Deep Imagination & Sound Journey to the Ancestors

You do not walk alone.

This chapter offers a deep imaginative and sound-based journey, opening a path toward ancestral remembering, communication and a deeper sense of belonging to the greater web of life.

The dark is full of life.

This closing chapter invites you to meet darkness as the threshold of the Dark Goddess. A place of nourishment, sensing, and creative force like no other.

Whether you engage in this activity simply as being with nature at nighttime or you dig a little deeper into the dark soil of consciousness, the night has much to offer us.

VII: The Seventh Threshold

Befriending the Dark

These long-form Celestial Blessings playlists are offered as a gift.

In our experience, one of the greatest things we can give one another is music, a shared frequency that lifts us, and reminds us we are not alone. At The Dreaming, sound is not decoration or background; it is a carrier of memory and emotion.

Your Teacher

Charlotte Church is an award-winning musician, ritualist, and founder of The Dreaming and The Awen Project. The Dreaming is where she leads immersive courses and retreats that guide participants into deeper connection with themselves and the living world. From her earliest years as the acclaimed “Voice of an Angel,” Charlotte’s journey has spanned the extraordinary heights of global performance, collaborations with vocal luminaries, and advocacy for justice and humanity. Over time, she discovered that her most profound calling was not only in song but in awakening others to their own voice, creativity, and connection to the earth.

Through her own transformative experiences, exploring vocal practices, neurobiology, indigenous pedagogical approches around teaching and learning, ritual, and nature-based wisdom, Charlotte has rediscovered a path back to the sacred. In The Dreaming of the Earth, she invites participants to step into this rhythm, to walk with intention, tend the elements, sing, create, and sit in awe, discovering how to meet both the unseen world and their own inner wildness with curiosity and tenderness.

Charlotte’s work is rooted in the land of Mid Wales, where she has crafted spaces that feel like temples of remembrance and reconnection. She draws on her deep understanding of human creativity, ancestral knowledge, and the restorative power of nature. Her mission is to help people begin the work of re-indigenising the soul.
