Return to Love
A Valentine’s Retreat for the Unpartnered Heart. A Homecoming to Self & Nature.
Fall in love with the only person you’ll spend your whole life with: you.
Love begins within, let the land show you how.
A Valentine’s Retreat for the Unpartnered Heart. A Homecoming to Self & Nature.
Valentine’s Day does not belong to couples. It belongs to love, in all its forms.
Return to Love is not a retreat about finding a partner. It is an invitation to remember the one love that has never left you:
Your own heart.
Your own presence.
Your deep, inherent belonging in the world.
This retreat is for those who no longer wish to perform love, search for love, or rescue love but are ready to live it from the inside out.
Over Valentine’s weekend, you’ll be held in a nourishing container of nature, community, ritual, and embodied practice, allowing your nervous system to soften, your heart to open, and your sense of self to gently come home.
Come exactly as you are.
You are already enough.
This retreat is lovingly designed for single people who feel the pull for something more meaningful than another Valentine’s spent scrolling, swiping, or sitting on the sidelines.
You may resonate if you:
Feel disconnected or unseen during Valentine’s season
Are tired of dating from a place of depletion or pressure
Long for depth, embodiment, and sincere connection
Want to feel grounded, held, and emotionally nourished
Crave a soulful reset — not another self-improvement fix
Desire to explore love beyond romance, clichés, and expectation
This is for the unpartnered heart, not the lonely heart, but the brave one ready to remember itself. The Transformation
By the end of the retreat, you won’t be “fixed”, you’ll be full.
You can expect to:
Feel deeply connected to your body, intuition, and inner wisdom
Experience genuine belonging within a warm, non-judgmental community
Reawaken sensuality, creativity, and heart energy
Learn practical tools to regulate your nervous system and open your heart safely
Feel grounded and supported through land-based and nature-led rituals
Return home calm, inspired, embodied, and more at ease with yourself
This retreat gently guides you from:
Loneliness → Belonging
Self-doubt → Self-devotion
Disconnection → Presence
Numbness → Aliveness
Seeking love externally → Living love internally
The Pillars of the Retreat
Self-Love as a Living Practice
Not as a concept, but as a felt experience
Coming home to body, breath, and truth
Releasing outdated relationship stories
Learning to meet yourself with tenderness and honesty
Nature as Medicine
Because you don’t have to heal alone
Grounding rituals on the land
Forest bathing and sensory walks
Elemental practices that restore rhythm and perspective
Remembering that you belong to nature — not separate from it
Community & Heart-Centered Connection
Connection without performance or pressure
Authentic relating practices
Sharing circles held with care and consent
Embodied movement to awaken playfulness, safety, and trust
Creative & Ritual Expression
Where intention becomes embodied and alive
Self-love sigil or talisman creation
Fire ritual for release and calling in
Breathwork, Qigong, intuitive movement, and ceremony
This is not an escape from being single. It is a homecoming to wholeness.
What Makes This Retreat Different
It is not about finding a romantic partner
It is intentionally created for singles
The focus is on embodiment — not mindset alone
Nature acts as a co-facilitator
Community is curated with care and consent
The practices last long after Valentine’s Day
Fall in love with the only person you’ll spend your whole life with: you.
Your Invitation
This Valentine’s Day, you do not need to be chosen. You do not need to wait. You do not need to become more.
You are already worthy of love.
Come home to yourself.
Come home to the land.
Come home to connection.
The Location
Nestled in the heart of the Elan Valley, Wales. Our retreat offers a serene and rejuvenating environment, away from busy work life, whatever the weather.
Set within forty seven glorious acres of ancient land, The Dreaming is a rural wonder which offers true serenity and blissful tranquility. Once a 15th century Cistercian monastery, this fabulous property passed through Georgian and Victorian aristrocratic families to the designer Laura Ashley and her family in the 20th century.
Laura Ashley directed her multinational interior design company from Rhydoldog House and then, in 2020, our founder Charlotte Church, with the help of talented collaborators, reimagined, refurbished and reconfigured it.
Our Rooms
Luxurious rooms with modern amenities awaits you, each designed by award winning designers to provide comfort and tranquility.
Each rooms interior reflect our passion for other cultures. Natural materials and tactile draping create den-like spaces, whilst original floorboards and textured walls give coherence and a cosseting feel to the seven rooms, each with its own distinct name and character.
The essence of connection thrives through our shared rooms. Our distinctive approach assigns beds individually rather than by room, encouraging meaningful interactions with fellow guests.
Embracing shared living is ingrained in The Dreaming’s values, creating an environment where bonds flourish.
